Large Hildoceras ammonite North Yorkshire fossils

Hildoceras ammonite fossil  that we found at Saltwick bay, Whitby on the Jurassic coast.

Large hildi in a large limestone rock. 

Unusual preservation with the ammonite on the outside of the rock

180 million years old, from the upper lias.

Yellow 1 cm cube for scale.
